Your landlord has to have the opportunity to fix first, that may be 24 hours, depending on state. If you are paying and not your landlord, then a plumber would fix, I would not expect that back from landlord though.

My idiot roommate dumped mud and woodchips down our kitchen sink and it is now CLOGGED. We’ve dumped drano down it but the drano isn’t even draining. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Besides taking a baseball bat to his head? >.<

pull the trap off the drain ( the u shaped bend with 2 nits on it ) clean out the trap and pipes and reassemble ( put a bucket or pan under it when you take it apart to catch water )
