I lost my car key today, it’s a regular key with a separate remote control, I called locksmith, they are asking for $ 280, Is there someone else cheaper.
My car is in mount vernon new york, it’s nissan sentra 2008
the problem is that th dealership is closed till monday

most dealers can cut a key with the complete VIN number and proof of ownership.

Question by jarretpcurry: How do I go about getting new car locks?
When I originally bought my car, I received two keys. One only works for the ignition and the glove compartment, so I’m guessing that’s the original key.. And the other only opens the drivers side door. My friend has the EXACT same car (1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS) and he has ONE key that does it all. My trunk and Passenger side door won’t open with either keys. Any ideas? Is it possibly that there are different lock cylinders around the car, or maybe somethings just wrong with the locks themselves? Thanks a lot.

I don’t know advantage, but ADT suffers from bigness.

If you are talking about having a system installed, I have no advice. If you are considering monitoring an existing system, I suggest you try for being allowed to cancel service at your will and at any time. You should specify that a monitoring device (often a DACT) will belong to you. Then any monitoring company could take over that task.

If you are considering a fire alarm system, talk to your fire department for advice on what to specify.

If you are talking of an intrusion system you will probably have a hard time getting good advice.
